We started by helping others show up online.

YEAR: 2011

Kalemi began as Kalemi Design, building websites and Facebook pages for people and businesses.
We were focused on how things looked and worked online.


But we soon wanted to go one step further and build the technology behind them. That became Kalemi Code in 2012.

Then we built our first product.

YEAR: 2012-2013

One of the products we built was a small experiment called Publer.
Its first MVP came in 2012. In 2013, it found its first paying customers.


What started as something we built along the way became a product for people who needed a simpler way to manage their social media. So we kept building.

We kept listening. And kept building.

YEAR: 2022-2025

By 2022, Publer had reached 100,000 users. As it grew, so did our understanding of what people needed to manage their online presence. Social media was one part of it. But there was more to bring together.


Linkie first MVP came in 2024, followed by its first paying customers in 2025, giving people one place to bring together all the links, content, and things they wanted to share.
Another product. Another part of being online to make easier.

And there was more to build.

YEAR: 2026

We weren't trying to build a collection of products.
We kept looking at what people were dealing with online, and where things could work better.


That's where Kibo came in, with its first MVP in 2026, bringing conversations from different channels together in one place.
Because showing up online doesn't stop at publishing. People reply, ask questions, and start conversations.
Three products. Different jobs.

And we're still building.
